A study that was conducted in 2018 was looking at how women in Saudi Arabia feel about their money management skills. We’ll explain what this study found and what the main takeaway is for us in 2023.
To begin with, the study split the respondents with 50% being working women, and 50% being non-working women. They also asked a wide range of women aged 18-40.
The takeaway from the study is that there needs to be more effort from the government and institutes need to play a vital role in instilling financial literacy within girls and women. This is still true today.
Most of the women interviewed believed that their educational institutes should also play an important role in increasing awareness.
